Ipas Nepal, PASS-Nepal, and the Dullu Urban Municipality Health Unit recently conducted the Reproductive Health Camp at Urban Health Center Binayak in Dullu Urban Municipality, Ward 13, Karnali Province. A total of 136 women from diverse backgrounds received gynecological and obstetric services, including cervical cancer and pelvic organ prolapse screening services.
During the one-day camp, apart from general health service and medical counseling, 86 VIA screenings for cervical cancer and uterine prolapse were conducted by gynecologist doctors and VIA-trained staff.
These screenings identified seven women requiring further treatment and were referred to Surkhet Province Hospital while three women received immediate support through ring pessaries.
Ipas Nepal is conducting a Reproductive Health camp in its implementing areas with risk of climate adversities and humanitarian crisis.
