Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination Symposium
Ipas Nepal on 2nd May 2023 successfully conducted Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination Symposium where 77 participants attended the symposium. Ipas Nepal also celebrated Ipas at 50 at the event. This program was chaired by Dr. Bibek Kumar Lal, Director, Family Welfare Division.
The symposium was attended by Secretary and Additional Secretary from Ministry of Health and Population, Director General from Department of Health Services, Member Secretory from Social Welfare Council, Nepal Health Research Council and representatives from Family Welfare Division, I/NGOs and CSOs. The speakers for the symposium congratulated Ipas for its tremendous work globally and Ipas Nepal for the contribution on strengthening safe abortion services in Nepal.
In the program Mr. Jagadishwor Ghimire, Country Director at Ipas Nepal presented 20 years of Ipas Nepal’s journey. Total of 4 research papers were also presented during the session on safe abortion and women-led climate justice.
