In coordination with district-based health office, Ipas Nepal has been implementing three days ASRH and life skill training to youth (male and female) invitee members of HFOMC in working districts. Adolescents have been trained on the importance of sexual and reproductive health, comprehensive sexuality education, safe and supportive environment, life skills, gender based violence and impacts, peer education and communication skills, information and services to prevent, diagnose and treat STIs, empower to know and exercise their SRH rights. After the training adolescents conduct education session, quiz context and other school-based activities focusing on SRHR with the support of health facility and school. They also conduct street drama, mass media activities in collaboration with local clubs and palika and disseminate IEC materials regarding SRH services in the programs. They act as a bridge between local community and health facility for referring SRH services.
