Ipas Nepal, in collaboration with its implementing partner SOSEC Nepal and with support from Dullu Municipality, Dailekh, enhanced the capacity of the Local Disaster Management Committee (LDMC) and District Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) within Dullu Municipality, Dailekh. This focused on strengthening the ongoing supply of commodities (dignity kits and other immediate relief items) at the Local Disaster Management Committee.
The activity was carried out between December 1 and December 21, 2025. To address the climate-induced disaster and strengthen the vulnerable community, tarpaulin procurement was approved during the LDMC meeting as part of the Strengthening Local Disaster Management Committee/District Disaster Management Committee activities.
In total, 132 tarpaulins were purchased to support the needy individuals affected by climate change. This handover is expected to strengthen LDMC/DDMC in preparing for and responding to climate-induced disasters in a timely manner.
