Ipas as a network organization is implementing the non-hierarchical practice and skills that can be applied in the workplace and in personal life too. Shared Leadership is core value of Ipas Nepal and to embark this journey, three days Shared Leadership in Practice (SLiP) was conducted for the Ipas Nepal staff from 18th February to 20th February 2024. This training was facilitated by the trainers: Mr. Avindra Mandwal (Senior program manager) and Dr Deeb Shrestha Dangol (HOD- Health System and Policy).
In total, 30 Ipas Nepal staffs participated in the training. The SLiP training was based on the ‘7 domains of practice’. These domains empower to take simple actions towards more collaborative and democratic way of working, regardless of our position in the Ipas network or within the team.
Shared Leadership will be practiced and mainstreamed as individual and organizational value henceforward for shared purpose, decision-making, feedback culture, autonomy, co-managed meetings, and for collective learning.
