Ipas Nepal provides technical support to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) to initiate and expand Safe Abortion Services (SAS) as well as expand contraception and protection of individuals’ rights to bodily autonomy and reproductive health decisions.

Madhav P. Dhakal holds Master’s degree in Sociology and has over 25 years of professional experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating development and humanitarian projects, experienced in managing complex projects, working in multi-cultural teams, with various donors such as USAID, DFID, DANIDA, EU/EC, ADH, private donors, and foundations. Madhav has demonstrated experience and expertise in partnership relationship building, local level planning, emergency response and recovery, climate change adaptation, community peacebuilding, disaster risk reduction, social and economic empowerment; food security and livelihoods; policy advocacy, RBA, governance, and gender, the experience of leading a team of diverse professionals from different academic backgrounds, culture, and ethnicity, trained in leadership and management through various national and international training.
